April Spoon Carving Workshop

  • Berkeley California (map)

In this workshop you will learn how to harvest and process a spoon blank from the land and carve a spoon while reaping the healing benefits and wisdom that come from spending time immersed in the wild.

We will start this workshop with a Contemplative Walk + Forest-Bathing Practice to arrive mindfully upon the land and attune to the magic of our surroundings.

We will provide all materials necessary for this workshop and you will also be given the option to buy knives and spoon blanks if you wish to continue carving on your own.

This workshop occurs monthly somewhere wilder. Following nature’s cycles, it awakens in the Spring and hibernates during the wet Winter season.
